Alternatively you could explore some of the lovely rocky outcrops along the coast, go snorkelling in the beautifully clear waters or travel to some of the many small towns and villages along the west side of the Mar Menor. La Manga is also famed for its quality golfing facilities and the area offers three championship golf courses including the amazing La Manga Club resort at the southern end of the strip.
