Alenda |
Alenda
is a great golf course located in between Elche and Montefort.
Set amongst undulating fairways and open countryside, this course
is one the prettiest in the area. It is also one of the most
challenging with tricky greens and some narrow fairways. This
course is usually kept in fantastic condition and if you want
to play a nice course this should be on your list. |

the game of players of any ability. The water hazards are beautifully
designed to both enhance the landscape and your golf game and
the latest technology has been employed to ensure these greens
are kept impeccable all year round. Add to this the spectacular

betray this areas origins as a citrus orchard and you have a
course that is a pleasure just to walk round.

Algorfa |
This
is one of the most recent additions to the courses in the area.
It has been designed to host a European Tour event and is certainly
well on the way to that. Off the "Tiger Tees" this
course is a monster, but off the yellow tees it is difficult
enough but is fair. It certainly has the potential to host a
European tour event and that is what the course is aiming for.
The course is surrounded in part by orange groves and the other
half is cut into the hills around the golf course. |

Valle
De Este |
18
holes, Par 72
White 5696m, VC 71.2, Slope 135
Yellow 5329m, VC 69.5, Slope 130
Red 4882m, VC 71.3, Slope 132
The Valle del Este golf course opened in 2002 and was designed
by José Canales.
A beautifully designed course it makes use of all indigenous
plants and features of the area. Although quite a challenging
all round course there is a nice blend of easier more relaxing
holes to play. The tees are particularly noteworthy, positioned
on small raised platforms surrounded by volcanic rock. The fairways
are wide and there are a lot of large sand bunkers on the course
as well as 3 lakes and several waterfalls.

White 6301m
Yellow 6070m VC 71.8 Slope 126

300m by 100m. This course has the recommendation of Cliff Pluck,
Secretary of the Sussex PGA, who is a regular player here.
The
Club House is located in the centre of the golf course (just
around the corner from the villa). It has a coffee bar, pro
shop and restaurant with a splendid terrace for viewing play
on the course. There is also a swimming pool sited here and
a sun deck.

Sea from the town of Muxtamiel in Alicante. Well designed and

areas of Spain and the inviting Mediterranean. |

from Torrevieja to La Manga del Mar Menor it is a spectacular
course to play.

Villamartin |
Villamartin
is the oldest course in the area. It has hosted the Mediterranean
Open and is well established. It is beautifully designed and
is usually in great condition. Villamartin is the main golfing
