Situated on the east coast, the province of South Costa Blanca is possibly
one of the most beautiful regions of Spain.
With an average
of 315 days of sunshine per year, the South Costa Blanca has it all, from superb sandy beaches and a
landscape that ranges from the mountainous yet relatively green
regions of the north scattered with orange groves and olive
trees, to the much flatter drier plains of the south famed for
its palm gardens and salt flats.
All this make it not surprising that the area has become so popular for many english families looking to emigrate to warmer climates and here can be found many properties in communities that are predominantly English in cultural feeling.
Although still much less developed and not as hectic
or crowded as the Costa del Sol, South Costa Blanca still contains many modern and vibrant towns such as Alicante
and
Torrevieja where the pace is much like any modern city (if
a little more relaxed).
Even so the area still contains many quiet little villages and rural communities where life carries on as it has for generations. Along with the miles of beaches,
beautiful scenery and wealth of attractions and activities including
a huge range of golf courses, all this means that South Costa Blanca still contains everything that
both the holidaymaker could want and this is still a huge part of the South Costa Blanca.
