Costa Calida is situated between the Costa Blanca to the north
and Costa Almeria to the south. The mediterranean climate offers
a summer temperature range of between 18-35C and the winter between
12-22C, along with over 320 days of sunshine per year.
The Costa Calida has hundreds of kilometers of coastline to enjoy with some of the most beautiful blue flag beaches around.
The warm shallow waters here are the perfect places from which to enjoy all manner of waterborne activities from jet skiing and sailing to just lazing in the water.
For those with an interest in the cultural side of things there is also a wealth of small coastal towns and villages to explore. As well as a myriad of inland outdoor activities here, from tennis clubs
and horse riding, walking and caving, and of course a fantastic
variety of local cuisine and restaurants in which to
try them.
Costa Calida is also famed for the amazing Mar Menor salt lakes that are known for there potential healing properties and flocks of Flamingoes.
Many of the finest golf courses in Spain including the La Manga course are to be found in this area,
boasting some of the most sought after golf properties in Spain, surrounded as they are
by palm trees and lemon groves.
